More and more people have vision problem that need glasses to help them.

However,wearing glasses is also a little troublesome.For example: the glasses always slide down to nose.

But why? There are two reasons:

1.The frame legs do not sag heavily, all the center of gravity is on the nose, the temples are not stressed, and they will slide down after a long time.

2.It’s the nose that can’t hold the glasses and keeps falling down.

According to these reasons,we need to use the Glasses Frame Torsion Tester to test the degree of wear resistance of the glasses frame.

Technical Requirements of Ophthalmic Optics-Glasses Frame-Basic Requirements and Test

Methods The upper part of this instrument is a sample clamp, and the glasses frame is clamped at

both ends of the clamp for torsion test. The eccentric device is driven by the motor to perform

angular deflection and twisting. After the number of twists required by design. Stop the operation of

the instrument, take off the sample, observe its wear degree, evaluate its folding resistance, and

provide reference data for material selection.

Testing Standard:

The leg torsion tester for glasses is based on GB/14214-2003 "General Requirements and Test

Methods for Glasses Frames" and ISO12870:1997.
