Each country has corresponding regulations on the flame retardant performance of building materials. In order to ensure the life safety of people in the building, these regulations have very high flame retardant requirements for building materials and products. BS476-6 is a fire test method for building materials in the UK. BS 476-6 is a fire test method for building materials and components. The fire performance of walls and ceiling linings is evaluated by measuring the fire spread of products. The measurement results are expressed by flame propagation index.


The flame spread index tester is developed and produced according to BS476-6. It is widely used in the detection of indoor wall materials, thermal insulation materials and ceiling materials. It complies with BS476-6:1989+A1:2009, BS 6853:1999 and other standards.


The instrument frame structure is mainly made of stainless steel, which is beautiful and corrosion-resistant. The combustion chamber is made of calcium silicate refractory board, which is resistant to high temperature and heat. Equipped with automatic flame out safety monitoring device, safe and reliable. Intelligent system test, automatic data processing and easy operation. It is also equipped with imported gas flow meter to accurately control the gas flow, with high precision and strong experience.
