I. Purpose: To test whether the sample continues to burn after withstanding the set temperature within the set time limit.
II. Operation.
1、 Place the instrument on the fixed platform.
2, turn on the power, the right rear of the instrument to switch the gate up to open the instrument.
3, set the upper limit temperature, press the red button, when you hear a beeping sound that the instrument is in working condition.
4, affected by the room temperature, heating takes a while. During the heating process of the instrument, put the sample to be tested on the test platform.
5 、When the instrument is heated to the set temperature automatically, the operator gently press the mechanical handle to make the steel rod touch the sample to be tested and test it within the specified time limit.
6 、Press the yellow button to turn off the instrument.
Note 1: Under the specified experimental conditions, generally 650 ℃ ± 10 ℃. Make the steel rod heated, touch the sample within 1S and stay on the sample surface for 5S.
Note 2: Repeat the above experiment for various samples of different materials to check whether the sample burns.
